A touching story about the bonds between a cat and his human

Aloof and often cynical, Nana used to live the rough life of a stray cat, although, he had an adoring fan in a kind-hearted young man called Satoru (Sota Fukushi). After an almost fatal accident, Nana is rescued by Satoru and starts living with his new cat servant.

Nana grows to like Satoru, however, the good times don’t last and they must find a new home for Nana. Visiting Satoru’s friends one by one, they travel around Japan in search for a new family for Nana. Along the way, we discover Satoru’s childhood, family, friendships and the reason why he would separate from his beloved Nana.
